Name Your Emotions is a virtual reality adventure that explores the love parents have for their children. Showcased at the Hind Al Oud store in Dubai Mall for two weeks, this immersive experience was designed for children aged 7 to 12. Hind Al Oud, renowned for crafting boutique fragrances that evoke deep emotions, provided children with an opportunity to name a new emotion and win prizes through a unique VR experience. The journey took participants through an emotional narrative based on the sacrifices parents make, encouraging children to reflect on their feelings. At the end of the experience, they named their authentic emotions and received a panoramic screenshot of their creation via email. Take a look at Instagram post and reel that highlight the event.

Responsibilities
As the Project Lead, I took on a multifaceted role that spanned multiple aspects of the project, including:

  • Design & Development: Led the overall design, technical execution, and immersive experience planning.
  • VR Setup & Execution: Successfully set up and managed the VR experience in malls, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Lighting & Optimization: Implemented environment lighting, including baked and real-time lights, to enhance visual fidelity.
  • Narrative Collaboration: Worked closely with the team to shape the emotional journey of the experience.
  • Client Coordination: Managed direct client interactions, ensuring all feedback and concerns were addressed promptly.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provided on-site support, bug fixes, and rapid troubleshooting during the first days of the launch.
